snow, snow go away

Recently there has been an increase in snow where i live wich isn't strange in the least, but during the holiday break i went and visited my mother wich i seldom do, but i felt it was my noble duty to visit (the holiday spirit provoked me)
As i was visiting , my mother has two very large, very loud cats. In there defense when we first aquired them(as kittens,at the age of 4, me not the cats) they were streamline and very hyperactive but we stopped that by feeding them excessivley.
So now 12 years later it is safe to say i am quite suprised they have survived. but as i was saying these to suprisingly alive cats love the snow. yes the snow. so when i was visiting my mother she was quite proud of these two beastly creatures, that if you would open the patio door would wobble their way out into the snow!
I was shocked and thought such a miracle has never happend , so i thought i would document it for future refernce.
